Buc-ee's, the cult idol of rest stops

The most famous gas station/rest stop/ market/ souvenir shop in all of Texas.
I have seen Buc-ee's expand every year and I could totally predict them branching out even further than the Lone Start State.

Buc-ee's signs always have something clever to say in the billboards like "we got beaver fever", or "coffee good enough to sink your teeth in".
I think their road signs are the only marketing tool they have. It's unveliebable how little investment they've made and how fast the company has grown mostly due to word of mouth and a smart, strong image.

WHAT MAKES BUC-EE'S SO SPECIAL?

Some of Buc-ee's popularity goes for the products, of course: classic beef jerky, kolaches, pecans and other local Texas specialties. Other great benefit about stopping at Buc-ee's is the amazingly clean and super confortable penthouse suite bathrooms with all sort of sanitary precautions available.
They are the cleanest public restrooms I have ever seen in my life (granted, I've bever been to Japan or a Scandinavian country).
But one of the most prevailing and probably best seller is the buc-ee's t-shirt.
It's available in many colors: red, black, turquoise, pink and more. These shirts became instantly popular among high-school and college crowds and now you see them on every one: kids, dogs, and even as part of a costume. There are other cool beaver souvenirs that have come out as more and more people like to give these items as a gift or souvenir of their trip: key chains, pillows, blankets and monogram picture frames and more.

So for this and many other reasons I've chosen Buc-ee's as my first Texan Hipster post.
Hope you've enjoyed it.
